What information do I need to provide to request my transcripts?
When filling out the HACC Transcript Request form, you will need to provide several key pieces of information. This includes your name, any maiden or prior names, your HACC ID number, or the last four digits of your Social Security number. Additionally, include your current mailing address, date of birth, phone number, and email. It’s also necessary to specify how many transcripts you are requesting and whether you want credit courses, non-credit/continuing education courses, or both. Remember to sign and date the form to validate your request.
How much does it cost to request an official transcript?
The cost for each official transcript is $6.00. When completing the transcript request form, you will indicate the quantity needed. Multiply the number of transcripts requested by the fee to calculate the total due. Include a check or domestic money order made out to HACC when mailing the form to the Registrar’s Office. If you prefer to pay in person, you can do so at the campus Welcome Center.
Can I pick up my transcript in person?
Yes, you can pick up your transcript in person at the Registrar’s Office located on the Harrisburg Campus. To do so, you must provide a photo ID for verification. The transcripts will be available for pickup in Room 105 of the Ted Lick Administration Building. If you are unable to pick up the transcript yourself, you can authorize another person to do so on your behalf, but they will also need to present a valid photo ID.
What should I do if I have outstanding financial obligations to HACC?
It's important to note that according to college policy, any outstanding financial obligations to HACC must be resolved before transcripts can be released. If you have unpaid tuition or fees, contact the college to address these issues first. Once your account is clear, you can proceed with your transcript request using the provided form. Make sure to check your account status before submitting your request to avoid delays.
